“Trump Pulls in Tulsi Gabbard for Debate Push.”
So declared the New York Times, clearly on edge about Trump meeting with a much smarter representative that put Ms. Kamala Harris on her heels.
And while “Heels Up” Harris may have obtained her start in politics from shady connections to a San Francisco mayor, she got a very rude wake up call from the brilliant Tulsi Gabbard.
Gabbard, a former Democrat, left the Democrat party in disgust years ago, though she did make a play for the Democrat nomination in 2019.
And while Gabbard, much like Harris, ultimately did not secure the candidacy, she sure remains a heck of a lot smarter.
Not to mention a much more decent human being with enough of a moral compass to split from a highly corrupt party.
Little wonder that Trump reached out to Gabbard recently for a political powwow, which the New York Timesimmediately claimed was “debate prep.”
Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt largely dismissed the Times report, noting that Trump, unlike hapless Harris, doesn’t need an army of people to prep him for a debate.
Especially against someone like Harris.
“President Trump has proven to be one of the best debaters in political history as evidenced by his knockout blow to Joe Biden,” Leavitt replied smoothly.
Indeed. The “knockout blow” that exposed years of mainstream media deception regarding Biden’s alleged fitness for office.
“He does not need traditional debate prep but will continue to meet with respected policy advisors and effective communicators like Tulsi Gabbard, who successfully dominated Kamala Harris on the debate stage,” Leavitt added.
Did she ever.
Indeed, Gabbard rattled Harris through pointing out Harris’ unenviable track record of locking up individuals for marijuana possession.
Which is especially pitiful considering Harris’s apparent push for nationwide marijuana legalization … and extremely pitiful considering that many people are still locked up, thanks to “Harris’s” policies.
She tends to forget about people like that.
“There is no excuse for that and the people who suffered under your reign as prosecutor, you owe them an apology,” Gabbard coolly informed Harris at the time.
Turned out Gabbard’s attack played a key role in kicking down Harris’s inflated self-importance.
Of course, Harris was supremely snarky towards Gabbard when asked about the attack upon her.
“This is going to sound immodest, but obviously I’m a top-tier candidate and so I did expect that I’d be on the stage and take some hits tonight … When people are at 0 or 1% or whatever she might be at, so I did expect to take some hits tonight,” Harris sneered.
Wow, what an intelligent reply. Seems Harris is only coherent when she’s viciously tearing down others while shamelessly promoting herself.
Her modus operandi, for sure.
What’s even more hilarious is the fact that even CNN skewered Harris over her commentary at the time,
“First of all, if you are running for president and you hear the words, ‘This is going to sound immodest’ come out of your mouth, it may be best to recalibrate what you are going to say. Second, what Harris is actually saying is, basically, this: The dork took a shot at the most popular kid in school. Big whoop …
That is not a good look. For any candidate. Ever,” CNN declared.
If only CNN adopted a similar posture today.
