Nothing like another Trump witch hunt, all of three weeks before one of the most momentous elections in American history.
“Special Counsel” Jack Smith has apparently decided to disregard the suspect role that a federal agency or two may have played in January 6, even in a peripherally unofficial capacity.
And that disregard may be directly attributed to his full throttled pursuit of top presidential candidate Donald J. Trump, as illustrated by the latest (il)legal move from “Special Counsel.”
Of course, CNN is quite gleeful to report on the Biden-Harris regime’s latest attempt to undercut the Supreme Court.
“Special counsel Jack Smith told a federal judge on Wednesday that the Supreme Court’s decision limiting some obstruction charges against those who stormed the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, should not apply to Donald Trump in the election subversion case against the former president.
One primary reason the obstruction charge against Trump should stand, prosecutors argue, is that – unlike in the case involving a rioter that was before the Supreme Court – Trump is directly accused of creating false evidence though the plot to insert fake electors in the certification process,” CNN declared.
Is that so?
Well, if Mr. Smith is so concerned about evaluating all evidence, perhaps he should also consider the strange role that intelligence agencies appeared to have played.
Indeed, events of January 6, 2021 have long been shrouded in mystery and controversy alike, which are further deepened by various revelations that have unfolded over time.
Who could forget none other than Nancy Pelosi admitting, at least to a degree, some responsibility for the chaos, given her apparent refusal to deploy more Capitol Hill police?
Now, as revealed by 88 pages of records obtained by Judicial Watch, apparently a number of CIA assets were on standby during the events of January 6.
Which is rather strange, considering that the CIA’s activities are generally limited to the international realm.
Judicial Watch tried to obtain more information regarding the CIA’s presence, which included “7 NGA dog teams, 2 ATF and several CIA dog teams on standby.”
Right. Totally normal to have “several CIA dog teams on standby” … especially at a domestic event.
However, no explanation was forthcoming, and Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit which issued “requests for CIA support or assistance at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021”
From the FBI to the. CIA, something very strange is up with the way in which they prioritize certain tasks, especially when such prioritization exposes politician deception.
The deployment of the CIA, for instance, suggests that more than one in the swamp was anticipating a huge event to occur, assuming they did not play a direct role in amplifying the intensity of the event.
As reported by The Blaze, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton wants to know precisely why the CIA was messing about Capitol Hill.
“Judicial Watch forced the Justice Department to admit CIA personnel were at the January 6, 2021, disturbance; now the CIA should come clean on exactly what its role at the protests was,” Fitton declared.
Indeed, it should.
U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie has also noted that these developments warrant a call for more transparency, especially in the wake of several ghastly displays of competence.
“The Secret Service’s inability to spot the pipe bomb on January 6 is part of the same pattern of incompetence that nearly led to the assassination of President [Donald] Trump. The agency needs serious reform before another one of its protectees pays the ultimate price for its ongoing negligence,” Massie noted.
Serious reform is needed in virtually all aspects of governance at this point in time, especially when accounting for the outsized influence of the alphabet agencies (i.e., FBI, CIA, NSA, etc.).
Varied commenters were not terribly shocked to see the CIA’s link to January 6, to put it mildly, especially given the agency’s history of aggravating regime change.
“What? An organization responsible for the overthrow of several dozen governments was present at an event the current party in charge is labeling an insurrection? NO WAY. What next, the current party in charge runs a coup on their primary?” one individual chortled.
Fair point.
After all, dozens of nations worldwide are more aware of the CIA’s activities than many Americans are, given the agency’s direct role in upending their governments and causing chaos.
Now the chickens have literally come home to roost, though the full degree of what the CIA may have done with regards to January 6 remains to be seen.
If it’s anything like the pathetic coverup of Hunter Biden’s laptop, then quite a bit remains to be discovered …
Regardless of Big Tech’s efforts to suppress the truth.
