Legendary American Company Decides To Say No To DEI

Hip, hip hooray!

Yet another American company has decided to just say no to the woke brigade, much to the rage of snowflakes at Ivy League schools.

However, clearly choosing good business sense over hysterically woke policies, none other than Ford Motors has decided to say sayonara to DEI policies.

In a company memo, Ford provided insight into several new (and deeply improved) policy positions moving forward, starting with more than a century’s worth of justification for doing so.

“For more than a century, Ford has been a pioneer in providing opportunities to people around the world of all races, genders, and backgrounds,” the memo began.

Indeed. Long before all the supremely divisive identity politics began.

“Our people are our greatest strength, and the diverse experiences, perspectives, and talents of our team have enabled Ford to create some of the most iconic vehicles in history and afford millions of people the freedom of mobility,” the memo continued.

In other words, hard work and merit are what make a company great, not forced quotas.

“We are mindful that our employees and customers hold a wide range of beliefs, and the external and legal environment related to political and social issues continues to evolve,” the memo continued.

Seriously. Especially as such deep polarization is rarely good for any company in the long run.

“[Ford has] taken a fresh look at our policies and practices to ensure they support our values, drive business results, and take into account the current landscape,” including the desire to focus on “networking, mentorship, personal and professional development, and community service.”

Rather sensible, non-polarizing goals.

And, just to make it abundantly clear that Ford is most definitely not subscribing to DEI policies, the memo makes it clear that diversity “quotas” have no place at Ford.

“[Ford] does not utilize hiring quotas or tie compensation to the achievement of specific diversity goals,” the memo added.

Ivy League universities should take note.

Robby Starbuck, an anti-woke activist, was delighted with Ford’s decision, issuing a lengthy tweet on X regarding the company’s sane decision.

“Big news: We were in the middle of investigating woke policies @Ford, but this morning Ford confirmed to me that they’re making changes …

This isn’t everything we want but it’s a great start. We’re now forcing multi-billion dollar organizations to change their policies without even posting just from fear they have of being the next company that we expose. We will continue to communicate with our sources in companies we expose and report on any that step out of line. I can promise that if we have to do a second report, it will be much more aggressive,” Starbuck declared.

Indeed. Though in the case of Ford, hopefully such a report will not be necessary.

“We are winning and one by one we WILL bring sanity back to corporate America. So far, you’ve helped me change corporate policy at Tractor Supply, John Deere, Harley Davidson, Polaris, Indian Motorcycle, Lowe’s and now Ford. We are a force to be reckoned with,” Starbuck added gleefully.

And may many more companies follow suit.

In the meantime, Ford’s avowed stance for unity is indisputable.

Just consider one of Ford’s closing remarks in the memo, making it rather clear that the company’s future is grounded in global unity, not polarizing division.

“As a global company, we will continue to put our effort and resources into taking care of our customers, our team, and our communities versus publicly commenting on the many polarizing issues of the day,” Ford asserted.

Now, imagine if all currently woke companies did the same.

Though in doing so, they’d be undermining the Dems’ main campaign strategy: division.
