While quite a few politicians are rather corrupt, Ms. Kamala Harris may well be the most corrupt politician in recent memory.
She slept her way to highly paid prosecutor positions in California, blasted Biden as racist in the 2020 primaries, and proceeded to take over the Democrat presidential nomination overnight in perhaps the least democratic manner in recent memory.
Heck, she has almost no real personal life to even speak of, given she eschewed family and pretty much everything else of value in her relentless pursuit for power.
Even the political jobs she’s gotten haven’t served to strengthen her as a statesman, but rather serve as a pathetic stepping stone to the ultimate power of the presidency.
Her entire political career has been about exactly no one but herself, in other words.
Indeed, every single thing in Harris’s life appears politically calculated, and she’s such a shameless liar that even her own father blasted her to the media.
Apparently, her Jamaican father was angered by Harris formerly joking about marijuana being around all the time when she was young.
“Half my family’s from Jamaica. Are you kidding me?” Harris roared, cackling away during an interview in response to whether or not she would be in support of marijuana legalization.
In the same interview, Harris also suggested that she grow up in a household that reeked of marijuana, given her Jamaican roots.
Way to stereotype, Ms. Harris.
Needless to say, Ms. Harris’s claims are vehemently denied by her father, who issued a rather strong statement of condemnation regarding his insanely power-hungry daughter in 2019.
“My dear departed grandmothers (whose extraordinary legacy I described in a recent essay on this website), as well as my deceased parents, must be turning in their grave right now to see their family’s name, reputation and proud Jamaican identity being connected, in any way, jokingly or not with the fraudulent stereotype of a pot-smoking joy seeker and in the pursuit of identity politics,” the elder Harris wrote.
When one’s own father expresses discontent to the press, that is saying a lot about who someone really is.
Her “jokes” about growing up with marijuana and being all for legalization are even more ridiculous when accounting for the people she apparently jailed for marijuana possession.
Indeed, Newsweek notes that Ms. Harris was singing a rather different tune regarding marijuana possession when she was the district attorney in San Francisco.
In fact, she oversaw nearly 2,000 convictions of individuals for mere possession of marijuana.
That’s right: possession, not distribution, of marijuana.
And, on top of that, Biden’s 2022 pardons of individuals who were convicted of federal possession of marijuana do not apply to the individuals that Harris pardoned.
“Vice President Kamala Harris’ record of securing convictions for marijuana-related offenses could be put back into the spotlight after President Joe Biden pardoned people convicted of simple possession under federal law …
However, the move will not affect the nearly 2,000 people who were convicted while Harris was San Francisco district attorney (DA) because those convictions were not made at the federal level,” Newsweek reported.
Troublingly, while Harris was prosecuting people at the state level for mere marijuana possession, she became supremely pro-crime at the national level.
By 2020, Harris was pushing “Freedom Funds” that literally aided and abetted murderous criminals.
Quite the stunning policy reversal, to put it mildly. Or position reversal, really, as she has zero consistent policy – or moral compass – to speak of.
Which was effectively suggested by her own father in his closing remarks.
“Speaking for myself and my immediate Jamaican family, we wish to categorically dissociate ourselves from this travesty,” Harris’s father proclaimed.
If only Americans could do the same.
