While the media may be fawning all over the DNC, more than one Dem is likely fuming behind the scenes at a major league curveball that’s unexpectedly come their way.
And that curveball has come in the form of RFK, Jr. and his running mate, who may well be dropping out of the race in order to “join forces” with the Trump campaign.
As reported by The Blaze, RFK, Jr.’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, had an interview with Tom Bileyu on the “Impact Theory” podcast, where she made it rather clear that a union with Trump may well be on the horizon.
“There’s two options that we’re looking at and one is staying in, forming that new party, but we run the risk of a Kamala Harris and Walz presidency because we draw votes from Trump or we draw somehow more votes from Trump,” Shanahan declared.
So, in other words, Shanahan absolutely does not want Harris to become president.
Who would? She has less of a track record than Obama, and that’s saying something.
“Or, we walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump. We walk away from that, and we explain to our base why we’re making this decision,” Shanahan declared.
And it’s likely that more than one would understand, especially as the DNC has gone full blown commie in more ways than one.
“We don’t want to be a spoiler. We wanted to win. We wanted a fair shot. The DNC made that impossible for us,” Shanahan continued, “they have banned us, shadow banned us, kept us off stages, manipulated polls, used lawfare against us, sued us in every possible state. They even planted insiders into our campaign to disrupt it and to create actual legal issues for us.”
In other words, the DNC has given RFK and Shanahan the less publicized Trump treatment.
Though the DNC has actually succeeded in ensuring that RFK did not appear at any debate, and they’re surely trying their best to keep them off the ticket.
“The extent by which the sabotage they’ve unleashed upon us, it’s mind-blowing. I mean, we’re still learning new ways that they have sabotaged us … They have banned us, shadow banned us, kept us off stages, manipulated polls, used lawfare against us, sued us in every possible state. They even planted insiders into our campaign to disrupt it and to create actual legal issues for us,” Shanahan continued.
Well, that’s how the swamp rolls. Insiders galore … Then again, considering that more than one Dem would likely throw their own family under the bus, who’s really surprised?
“I really wanted a fair shot at this election. And I believed in the America that I, [as] a little girl, pledged allegiance to and that is not where we are today. And it’s not because of the Republican Party taking us out. It is exclusively because of the Democratic Party taking us out, and I am so disappointed I ever helped them,” Shanahan continued.
Seriously. Tulsi Gabbard likely feels similarly.
Of course, the DNC promptly threw a fit as soon as Shanahan dared to highlight the travesty they’ve truly become, spouting off about the “spoilers” to Queen Kamala’s campaign.
“Nicole Shanahan isn’t even pretending to be a serious VP candidate anymore. In one interview alone, she floated RFK Jr. for HHS [Health and Human Services Department] Secretary in a Trump administration, discussed her interest in running for governor of California in 2026, admitted that the Kennedy-Shanahan campaign has no path to victory, and raised the possibility of joining forces with Trump to defeat Vice President Harris …
From the beginning of this race, we’ve said that RFK Jr. is nothing more than a spoiler for Donald Trump, and we’re glad that his running mate is finally admitting it,” a Democrat spokesperson raged.
Right.
Far more salience can be gleaned from readers of The Blaze.
“No surprise that they were treated worse by the power mad Democrats, which is nothing like the old JFK party. Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country, doesn’t play well with the hand always out crowd. Steal from Peter to give to Paul, and you’ll always get Paul’s vote. Democrats are absolutely corrupt. JFK must be spinning in his grave,” one individual remarked.
Without a doubt.
