Dems Hand Out Massive “Rental Assistance” To “Newcomer” Migrants

When Trump comes to power, his mass deportation policies will not only enhance public safety, but massive savings for Americans.

After all, which American taxpayers have any desire, whatsoever, to provide “rental assistance” to illegals? Oh, sorry, “newcomers.”

Indeed, Biden’s “newcomer” moniker really stuck to the multiple millions of illegal migrants seeking so-called “asylum” in the United States.

“Asylum” that not only eschews real background (and illness) checks, but also achieves rental assistance that Americans could only dream of during these hyper-inflationary times.

Indeed, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, perhaps most famous for violating the tenets of her own anti-freedom stance, has apparently decided it’s a great idea to commence a “Newcomer Rental Subsidy program.”

And that program is one that rewards illegal migrants for breaking multiple laws.

According to the Michigan House Republicans, the deeply disturbing program is intended to provide even more cash for illegals facing deportation.

“The Newcomer Rental Subsidy Program offers benefits to people who enter the country illegally but later claim asylum after facing deportation. Various immigrant households can receive up to $500 a month in rental assistance for 12 months under the program. The criteria even allow individuals with a pending asylum application to receive support, including people who came into the United States illegally and then filed a defensive asylum application as a tactic in removal proceedings. Defensive claims comprised 97% of total asylum claims filed in fiscal year 2023,” the official website for the party declared.

Well, how about that. Talk about coddling illegal migrants to an entirely new level.

With taxpayer funds no less, as the Republicans detail.

“The Newcomer Rental Subsidy program is administered by Whitmer’s Office of Global Michigan and the Michigan State Housing Development Authority. The agencies are using funds from the Housing and Community Development Fund (HCDF), which supports a variety of state housing programs. Last year, Democrats passed a controversial tax law along nearly party lines that will automatically deposit $50 million in tax revenues into the HCDF every year going forward,” the website added.

That’s nice. Heaven forbid the Democrats give taxpayers a break for funding all the illegal migrant nonsense in the first place

Taking taxpayers’ money to fund endless illegal migration, especially when the vast majority of migrants never pay taxes, is a recipe for complete disaster.

But such disasters don’t matter to the perpetually short term-focused Democrats.

According to State Representative Will Bruck, Whitmer is rather obviously sending the very wrong message to illegals.

“Supporting illegal aliens with taxpayer dollars sends the wrong message – that breaking the law is rewarded,” Bruck noted.

Indeed.

But Whitmer apparently had to outdo New York City Mayor Eric Adams in her wokery, hence the desire to hand out hundreds per month in so-called “rental assistance.”

Rather rich, as many illegals already receive “free” housing!
“Every dollar spent to incentivize illegal immigration is a disservice to those who immigrate lawfully and contribute to the prosperity of our state and our nation. Our tax dollars should be invested in opportunities that strengthen our communities, not programs that enable misuse of the system,” Bruck continued.

No kidding.

And forget strengthen … many illegal migrants steadily destroy communities, never mind actively strengthen them.

Just consider the fact that Venezuelan prison gangs have apparently invaded at least 50 percent of American states at this point.

“Offering taxpayer-funded housing to those who exploit asylum laws undermines the integrity of our immigration system, disregarding the hardships faced by both law-abiding citizens and legitimate refugees who follow the proper immigration process,” Bruck continued.

Well, unfortunately, people who follow the law are apparently the enemies of the Democrats.

Kind of like people who follow proper election protocols. Which is why the Democrats are brazenly importing so many new “Hispanic voters,” as Biden recently identified his illegal newcomers.

Alas, Kalamazoo County in Michigan already issues identification cards for illegal migrants, though the county claims illegals “can’t vote” with the IDs.

For anyone who actually believes that malarkey, there is a treasure trove of oceanfront real estate in Iowa for sale.

Fortunately, far more conservatives turned out in 2024 relative to before, quashing that little plot before it could cause any further damage.
