Dems Defy Red State AG With 200,000+ “Unsolicited” Voter Registrations

More than one Democrat has declared their effective intention to turn Texas “purple,” and it sure looks like the few Democrat strongholds within the state are doing everything in power to make it so.

In fact, Texas State AG Paxton had become aware of the fact that one country in Texas – Bexar County – was planning to send hundreds of thousands of unsolicited voter registrations to varied individuals.

And he attempted to stop such a problematic scheme.

Paxton sent a letter to Judge Sakai and Bexar County Commissioners, making it clear that he was dismayed by the mailing hordes of unsolicited ballots to residents.

“I write today concerning the proposal slated for consideration at your commissioners court meeting this Tuesday to spend hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars to mail unsolicited voter registration applications to an untold number of Bexar County residents regardless of whether those residents have requested such an application or are even eligible to vote,” Paxton declared.

That’s Dems for you. Masters at wasting money … especially other people’s.

“At best, this proposal is ill-advised because it potentially confuses residents of Bexar County about whether they are eligible to vote,” Paxton declared.

“Ill-advised” is one of the nicer ways to put it, especially during such an unbelievably contentious political period.

“At worst, it may induce the commission of a crime by encouraging individuals who are ineligible to vote to provide false information on the form,” Paxton continued.

Which is especially problematic if they succeed in successful registration.

Who knows how many illegal migrants are in Texas now? In particular those who receive “unsolicited” voter registration applications.

“Either way, it is illegal, and if you move forward with this proposal, I will use all available legal means to stop you,” Paxton declared.

Alas, it seems Dems in Texas are already banking on Harris winning, given how easily they defied Paxton.

As reported by Blaze Media, “the warning apparently fell on deaf ears … the commissioners court in Bexar County voted 3-1-1 in favor of sending out approximately 210,000 voter registration applications. The voter registrar gave the lone ‘no’ vote.”

Naturally, Paxton was not amused.

“In a display of bad faith, Bexar County engaged in dirty tricks to avoid appropriate judicial review of a clearly unlawful program that invites voter fraud …

These actions demonstrate that Bexar County knew what they were doing was wrong, yet expedited the mailout of unsolicited registration forms before the issue could be argued in court. I will fight every step of the way to hold them accountable,” Paxton declared.

One can only imagine how many other “dirty tricks” are playing out nationwide … and the serious implications they may have for the forthcoming election.
