CNN Stuns With “Reality” Claim On Border

You know things at the border must be absolutely horrific if CNN of all outlets is telling another Democrat to check back into reality.

Per a report from The Blaze, CNN’s Jake Tapper made the bold move of telling a pro-BLM Democrat that the border, is, in fact, not secure.

Representative Ayanna Pressley, who is usually best known for ranting and raving about the evils of police, delivered more statements delightfully detached from reality during a primetime appearance on CNN.

“No doubt about it, our border is secure. And we are in the midst of a humanitarian crisis, and we have to fix a broken system, and we ought to …” Pressley prattled.

Apparently, the word “secure” caught Tapper’s attention.

“You think it is secure? You think the border is secure? Or it’s not secure?” Tapper replied incredulously.

Pressley insisted on border security before doubling back to ramble on about a “humanitarian crisis,” which is another way of demanding federal funds.

“The border is secure,” Pressley added again forcefully.

At that point, Tapper introduced Pressley to some cold, hard facts.

“But if you have millions of undocumented migrants coming into the country, how is the border secure?” Tapper argued.

That’s the question Americans have been asking for multiple decades. After all, Trump and his border wall recommendation were elected for a reason in 2016.

Coincidentally, the border wall was Trump’s only executive order signed on Day 1, to the surprise of no one.

Biden, on the other hand, signed almost 20 executive orders, some of which pertained to militant transgenderism.

“I’m not disagreeing with anything you’re saying except for the idea that the border is secure. If you have people crossing border, it’s by definition not secure … Because [the border] is not secure, [migrants] go on this journey, and one of the arguments that is made – and maybe you disagree with it – is that the border should be secure so as to discourage people from making this journey,” Tapper continued.

While Pressley gazed inanely onwards, Tapper then remarked that she may have difficulty acknowledging reality.

“But it just seems like just such a refusal to acknowledge reality to say that the border is secure when we all know millions of people are crossing the border illegally every year,” Tapper added.

Who would have ever imagined that, even just three years ago, CNN would be informing another Democrat that their take on the border is detached from reality?

Then again, it is important to recall that major news networks began to admit the truth (i.e., regarding Hunter’s laptop) before a number of things began hitting the formal fan, especially with the ongoing GOP investigation.

Thus, one can only wonder what’s about to unfold at the border for the media to suddenly get with “reality” now.
