Half the time, one almost wonders if the White House wants the suffering to continue in Eastern Europe.
After all, the administration that blames everything and everyone but itself for its own egregiously terrible behavior now has a readymade excuse for everything:
It’s Putin’s fault.
First, it was Trump’s fault for everything, in spite of the fact that the White House is the one that reversed most of Trump’s policies.
Now, apparently, everything, from gasoline prices to food shortages, can be blamed on Putin, leaving the likes of Pete Buttigieg and other non-working “officials” free to gallivant endlessly during endless paternity leave and other endlessly self-involved activities, all funded by taxpayer dollars.
“The global economy faces serious challenges. Inflation is elevated, exacerbated by Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine. Energy markets are in turmoil. Supply chains that haven’t fully healed are causing shortages and price hikes,” Biden blared.
More like a federal government that is completely unhealthy is leading directly to “price hikes” and “shortages,” especially when the government’s buddy, Bill Gates, just happens to be manufacturing artificial milk while Biden happens to declare anyone that feels like a woman is a woman.
Almost as if the Democrats have some hidden agenda to get rid of women entirely, from a social to biological level.
Which would explain why J.K. Rowling had no one, aside from Dave Chapelle, come to her defense for daring to question the insistence on erasing women’s truly lived experiences.
Not that Biden would know any of that, given the high life he’s lived off of his son’s international exploits with China, Russia, and Ukraine.
“Americans are anxious. I know that feeling. I grew up in a family where it mattered when the price of gas or groceries rose. We felt it around the kitchen table,” Biden brayed, “but the American people should have confidence that our economy faces these challenges from a position of strength.”
Completely empty words when not accompanied by any action whatsoever.
But at this point, who is even listening?
After all, Biden generally repeats the same prewritten platitude after platitude.
Until he doesn’t.
Biden finally decides to give real facts and figures over the course of his simpering monologue, and, very unfortunately, these are not the types of facts and figures one would hope to see.
On the contrary, they are quite a bit more disturbing.
“During this transition, growth will look different. We will likely see fewer record job-creation numbers, but this won’t be cause for concern,” Biden boomed, “rather, if average monthly job creation shifts in the next year from current levels of 500,000 to something closer to 150,000, it will be a sign that we are successfully moving into the next phase of recovery – as this kind of job growth is consistent with a low unemployment rate and a healthy economy.”
Uh, what?
So, job creation is set to be reduced by nearly 70 percent, yet Americans are not supposed to feel concerned at all?
That’s about as economically sound as “transitory inflation,” which everyone knows by now is not transitory.
What’s next? A “transitory” recession?
