Seems that the internecine Democrat in-fighting is the gift that keeps on giving.
Indeed, Jill Biden, perhaps one of the more aggressive individuals to serve as First Lady in recent memory, sent tongues wagging when she was far friendlier to President Donald Trump than she was to Comrade Kamala.
In public, no less.
Now, Mrs. Biden has further upped the ante by going after none other than the wannabe Queen Bee herself – Nancy Pelosi.
Who she has now blasted as “disappointing” … while simultaneously implying, quite strongly, that she has a terrible character.
According to a report from none other than CNN, Biden recently gave a very bold interview in which she openly criticized Pelosi.
“We were friends for 50 years. It was disappointing,” Biden declared.
Fair point. In fact, Jill Biden has a major point.
Loyalty to Pelosi for half a century means nothing to Pelosi … as she is 100% driven by power. Period.
Which was evidenced when she reportedly resulted to major threats to force Biden out of the race.
Only for Comrade Kamala to lose in an even more spectacular nature than Biden would have.
“Let’s just say I was disappointed with how it unfolded. I learned a lot about human nature,” Biden added.
Have to love how Biden uses “disappointing” or a variant of “disappointing” at least twice, specifically with regards to Pelosi.
And who wouldn’t?
After all, Pelosi openly, and publicly, knifed her “friend” in the back on a very global stage.
Just consider her remarks in July 2024 … right after Biden made it clear that he was still running for the presidency.
“It’s up to the president to decide if he is going to run. We’re all encouraging him to make that decision because time is running short,” Pelosi proclaimed.
Ironically, Pelosi made these remarks after Biden already made his decision … she just didn’t like what his decision was.
So she forced him out, only to end up with massive egg on her face when Trump absolutely annihilated Comrade Kamala in the election.
“We just have to win the election,” Pelosi added, as an alleged justification for knifing her long-term “friend” in the back.
Well, everyone knows how that turned out.
Astonishingly, Pelosi continued to blame Biden even after the Dems’ epic loss, clearly lacking even the most basic self-awareness.
Given her commentary right after the election.
“Had the president gotten out sooner, there may have been other candidates in the race. The anticipation was that, if the president were to step aside, that there would be an open primary,” Pelosi ranted.
Or, had the president focused on all Americans, perhaps the Dems would not have lost as resoundingly as they did.
Just a thought.
Heck, Pelosi has even managed to alienate other Democrats, per other media reports.
In an aptly titled Axios report – “House Dems sick of Pelosi” – several Democrats sounded off on how arrogant Pelosi has acted towards, well, basically everyone.
“She needs to take a seat. Making scattershot comments is not just unhelpful, it’s damaging,” a senior Democrat declared.
So, Pelosi is not only “disappointing” per Jill Biden, she’s “damaging” to a senior Democrat too afraid to identify themselves.
Even Black Caucus members spoke out against her, albeit anonymously.
“Hakeem has been tremendously graceful and respectful of her, but I don’t think she is being respectful of him,” a member of the Congressional Black Caucus added.
Without a doubt. Not very “progressive” of her, but at least other Democrats are recognizing, more and more, what her “leadership is apparently all about.
And so does Jill Biden for the first time, at least publicly.
Hence her reflection on the Biden legacy.
“I hope that women see me as a reflection of themselves. You know, a mom, a grandmom, a working woman, a sister, a friend … I hope that they remember Joe as a strong, empathetic president with integrity and character. I mean, character really is everything, isn’t it?” Biden queried.
Well, to be fair, it certainly took gumption to call out Pelosi quite publicly.
It will be interesting to see how the wannabe empress responds, if at all.
